Knights of Braveland is a co-op action roguelike in the same vein as Castle Crashers and Lost Castle, offering fun and engaging action presented in a charming cartoon-like fashion. Since its release, the developers have regularly put out multiple DLCs that add more content to the base game to keep things fresh and interesting. Knights of Braveland - Fun and Memes Pack is one of them.
This program primarily adds more items and gear for you to use in battle as you slay monsters with friends. To be more specific, there are 10 new fun weapons ranging from broccoli for bludgeoning and a sci-fi lightsaber to unlock. To complement them, there are seven extra helmets that are equally wacky, including a bucket and a superhero cowl.
There's even a new hero you can try out in the form of the Theater Artist, with its unique set of abilities. The best part about all of this is that they will be available right from the start and gradually unlock as you progress through the game. Now, if you're expecting some kind of new location, sadly, this DLC does not have any.
Keeping things fun
All in all, Knights of Braveland - Fun and Memes Pack is a decent addition to the already fun and engaging experience offered by the base game. This time around, it's all about adding new and quirky weapons and gear for players to enjoy, and some will even appreciate the pop culture references here and there. If you're a fan, this is worth adding to your library.
